Tell the website visitor something about your portfolio. What do you want to present at your website? What makes you special? Or what specialized information offers your page?
Don't write too long texts! Detailed descriptions can be done in the portfolio sub pages. For a short overview you can use unordered lists:

What makes you or your website special?
What information the visitors can get here?
Please tell something, and some images create positive effects!

The background image can be adjusted to your personal needs.

Responsive Columns:
It is possible, to use columns for a better overview. The columns will be arranged depending on the resolution. Layout on higher resolution displays shows two columns next to each other.

Second Column filled with Content:
On lower resolution displays like smartphone view, the columns will be arranged one below the other. So this column will be displayed underneath the column "Responsive Columns".
